About Me

In March of 2020, there will be an election for a new District 4 County Supervisor. I am your candidate because I will serve the interests of the people.

In 2006, I bought my first home in Seaside to raise my family. Since then, I have been devoting my time to improving the quality of life for everyone in Monterey County. Currently, I work in our schools and I am the chair of the Neighborhood Improvement Commission for the City of Seaside.

I am the right person for this job because I have the skills needed to represent you. I have also worked in the legal field and am currently taking law classes focused on governmental policy. While serving as the chair of the Neighborhood Improvement Commission, I have worked with others and have demonstrated my ability to achieve results.

Some of you have concerns voting for someone like me. After all, the other two candidates in the race have both held elected office and I have not.

That is precisely the reason you should consider voting for me. I am not part of the establishment and I will work for the people's interest. I regularly attend Board of Supervisor Meetings and various agencies, such as the school board, the water district, and Monterey Bay Power.

I am ready to work for you and help solve the daily problems our residents and businesses face while dealing with the County of Monterey.

My Educational Background

I graduated from California State University Monterey Bay with a BA in Communication. In 2015, I attended an extensive two-month Spanish language program in San Jose, Costa Rica. Currently, I am attending Law School with a projected graduation date of May 2020.

My Political Experience

I was a candidate for Supervisorial District 4 Monterey County Board of Supervisors in 2016. Later that year, I was appointed at the Seaside Neighborhood Improvement Commission and I am currently its chair.

My Professional Experience

I have served as a legal assistant in several local and Bay Area firms. There, I focused on H-1 visa applications, consumer fraud litigation, arbitration, estate management, and criminal law. I am also a USSF/NISOA referee and officiate in state and regional soccer games, as well as in college games around the US.

My Volunteer Experience

I have volunteered at the following  organizations on the central coast:

  • Coast-to-Coast Soccer, Castroville, California (Present)

  • Seaside Police Athletic League Coach (2008-2010)

  • Boys and Girls Club, Monterey County, California (2002-2005)

  • Dorothy's Place, Salinas, California (2004)

What Makes Me Unique?

The theme of my campaign is Accountability today makes tomorrow better for everyone. Fairness is the underlying value and I will work to ensure that all of the residents involved in the county will be treated with respect and dignity. I am going to do this by asking hard questions and proposing alternative solutions concerning  the problems facing the county.
